Taper Ade Beta Study Terms Of Use And Privacy Policy
This Terms of Use and Privacy Policy (“Agreement”) governs participation in the Taper Ade product testing program.
The program is administered by Christoph-Weston LLC, a North Carolina limited liability company doing business as Quit Kit (“Company”).
By completing the onboarding survey for the Taper Ade beta study, you (“Participant”) acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms outlined in this Agreement.
1. Purpose of the Beta Study
The purpose of this program is to evaluate early versions of a dietary supplement product known as Taper Ade, including the Stim Pack and Chill Pack formulations.
Participants will receive a limited quantity of the product and provide feedback regarding usability, perceived effects, tolerability, and overall experience.
Participation is voluntary and intended solely for research and product development purposes.
No purchase is required to participate.
2. Eligibility
By participating in the beta study, Participant confirms that:
• Participant is at least 18 years of age
• Participant is legally capable of entering into this Agreement
• Participant is voluntarily participating in the study
• Participant understands that the product is experimental and under development
Participant agrees to provide truthful and accurate information during onboarding and throughout the study.
3. Health Status Acknowledgment
Participant acknowledges and confirms that, to the best of their knowledge:
• They do not have a known medical condition that would make consumption of dietary supplements unsafe
• They are not pregnant or nursing
• They are not currently under medical instruction to avoid supplements similar to those contained in Taper Ade
• They have reviewed the ingredient list and known contraindications provided by the Company
• They understand that it is their responsibility to consult a licensed healthcare professional if they have concerns about supplement use
Participant accepts full responsibility for determining whether participation in the study and consumption of the product is appropriate for their personal health circumstances.
4. Product Disclosure
Taper Ade is a dietary supplement currently under development.
Participant understands and agrees that:
• The product has not been evaluated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration
• The product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease
• The product is not medical treatment
• The product is not a detox program
• The product is not a substitute for medical or addiction treatment
Participants are responsible for reviewing the ingredient list and contraindications before using the product.
5. No Medical Supervision
The Company does not provide medical supervision, diagnosis, treatment, or monitoring as part of this beta study.
Participants are solely responsible for their health decisions and for determining whether use of the product is appropriate for their individual circumstances.
Participation in this study does not create a medical provider–patient relationship between the Participant and the Company.
6. Assumption of Risk
Participant acknowledges that consuming dietary supplements carries inherent risks.
Possible risks may include but are not limited to:
• Allergic reactions
• Gastrointestinal discomfort
• Mood changes
• Sleep disturbances
• Headaches
• Changes in heart rate
• Interactions with medications
• Unforeseen side effects
Participant voluntarily assumes all risks associated with participation and use of the product.
If Participant experiences any adverse effects, they agree to discontinue use and notify the Company.
7. Proper Use Requirement
Participants agree to use the product only as directed and only for personal evaluation during the beta study.
The Company is not responsible for harm resulting from:
• Use inconsistent with instructions
• Excessive consumption
• Combining the product with other substances or supplements
• Use by individuals other than the registered Participant
8. Participant Responsibilities
Participants agree to:
• Use the product only as directed
• Not share, distribute, or transfer the product to others
• Not resell the product
• Provide honest feedback during the study
• Report any side effects or adverse reactions
9. Public Statements and Claims
Participants agree not to make public claims regarding the medical effectiveness of Taper Ade during the beta study, including statements that the product treats addiction, withdrawal, or medical conditions.
Participants may not publish reviews, testimonials, or claims about the product on social media, forums, or public platforms without written permission from the Company during the beta testing period.
10. Confidentiality and Intellectual Property
Participant understands that the product formulation, ingredient combinations, flavor system, packaging concepts, and related materials may contain proprietary information.
Participant agrees:
• Not to reverse engineer the product
• Not to analyze or replicate the formulation
• Not to publicly disclose proprietary information related to the product
All intellectual property related to Taper Ade remains the exclusive property of Christoph-Weston LLC d/b/a Quit Kit.
11. Feedback and Data Use
Participants may be asked to provide feedback through surveys, SMS check-ins, or other methods.
By participating, Participant agrees that:
• Feedback may be used for research, development, and product improvement
• Data may be analyzed in aggregate form
• The Company may use anonymized insights derived from participant responses
Participant names or identifiable testimonials will not be used publicly without separate written consent.
12. Privacy and Personal Information
The Company respects participant privacy.
Information collected may include:
• Contact information
• Substance-use context related to tapering
• Survey responses
• Product feedback
The Company agrees that:
• Personal information will not be sold or rented to third parties
• Identifiable information will not be publicly disclosed without explicit consent
• Access to participant data will be limited to authorized personnel
• Reasonable safeguards will be used to protect stored data
Participant understands that no electronic system can guarantee absolute security.
Participants may request deletion of their identifiable personal information at any time, subject to applicable legal obligations.
13. Adverse Event Reporting
Participants agree to discontinue use and notify the Company if they experience any unexpected or concerning symptoms while using the product.
14. No Warranty
The product provided in this beta study is experimental and is provided “as is.”
The Company makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the product’s performance, effectiveness, or safety beyond the disclosures provided in this Agreement.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the total liability of Christoph-Weston LLC d/b/a Quit Kit arising from participation in the beta program shall not exceed the value of the product provided to the Participant.
16. Voluntary Participation
Participation in the beta study is voluntary.
Participants may withdraw at any time by discontinuing use of the product.
The Company may terminate participation at its discretion.
17. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and interpreted according to the laws of the State of North Carolina.
18. Agreement Acknowledgment
By completing the Taper Ade onboarding survey, Participant confirms that they:
• Have read this Agreement
• Understand the terms of participation
• Agree to all terms outlined above
• Voluntarily choose to participate in the beta study
